University sensory studies showed that consumers can preceive a difference in softness with DC-Extra in corn tortillas after five days. Out of 84 panelists 77 picked DC-Extra tortillas as softer while still in the package. Eighty one panelists chose the DC-Extra tortillas when out of the package.
