Formula-X
Formula-X incorporates gum technology into a liquid preservative blend. Formula-X has been developed by Chem-Mex to be used with preservative feeder systems during the milling process or added to corn flour during processing. The benefit of Formula-X is that gums can now be added to nixtamalized corn directly at the mill without a further mixing step.


BENEFITS
Formula-X improves shelf-life, aroma, flavor, softness/texture/strength, machinability and water absorption of corn tortillas. Can be used at the mill with no further mixing step.
